Fresh Fruits
Annona (Soursop)
Soursop, also known by its scientific name Annona muricata, is a tropical fruit-bearing tree native to the Americas and widely cultivated in Sri Lanka. The fruit is known for its distinctive green, spiky exterior and creamy white, sweet-sour pulp. It’s a good source of vitamins C and B, fiber, and antioxidants, and is enjoyed fresh, in juices, smoothies, and desserts. In traditional medicine, various parts of the plant are used for their potential anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and sedative properties.
